Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 17 March 2026  ·  Jurisdiction: Singapore

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a call, submitting an application, purchasing any programme, or using any materials offered through this website. By engaging with this website or entering into any service agreement with Joyce Teo, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. About This Website

This website is operated by Joyce Teo, a sole proprietor based in Singapore. The services offered through this website include private intensive coaching, small group intensives, rapid coaching programmes, and related digital resources and worksheets (collectively, "the Services").

For questions regarding these terms, you may contact Joyce Teo at joyceteo.sage@gmail.com.

2. Nature of the Services

The Services offered by Joyce Teo are coaching and advisory in nature. They are not therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice. No client relationship constitutes a clinical, therapeutic, or regulated professional relationship of any kind.

The work is designed to help high-performing professionals identify internal misalignment and make clearer decisions. Results depend significantly on the honesty, engagement, and follow-through of the client. Joyce Teo does not guarantee any specific outcome, result, or transformation.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require clinical support, you are strongly encouraged to seek qualified professional help before or instead of engaging these Services.

3. Application and Acceptance

All programmes and services are offered by application only. Submission of an application does not constitute acceptance into any programme. Joyce Teo reserves the right to decline any application at her sole discretion, without obligation to provide reasons.

A service agreement is only formed once both parties have agreed in writing (including by email or electronic confirmation) and any required payment has been received.

4. Fees and Payment

Fees for each programme or engagement are communicated directly during or after the discovery call. All fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated.

Payment terms, including deposit requirements and instalment schedules where applicable, will be confirmed in writing before any engagement commences. Payments are processed via the methods displayed at the point of purchase (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and other accepted cards).

All fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes. Clients are responsible for any taxes applicable in their own jurisdiction.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Given the nature of the work and the limited number of clients accepted at any time, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • Private Intensive: Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled session date are eligible for a full refund of any deposit paid, less an administration fee of SGD 150. Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled session are non-refundable. Requests to reschedule will be considered at Joyce Teo's discretion and are subject to availability.

  • Small Group Intensive: Places are non-refundable once confirmed, as participation affects other group members. In exceptional circumstances, a credit toward a future programme may be offered at Joyce Teo's discretion.

  • Rapid Coaching Programme: The annual fee is non-refundable once the engagement has commenced. If a client chooses not to book sessions, no refund or credit is provided — the onus to book sessions rests with the client.

  • Digital downloads and worksheets: Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final and non-refundable once access has been provided.

In the event that Joyce Teo needs to cancel a session due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a full rescheduling option will be offered. If rescheduling is not possible, a pro-rata refund will be provided.

6. Confidentiality

Joyce Teo treats all client information, disclosures, and session content as strictly confidential. Information shared by clients will not be disclosed to any third party without prior written consent, except where required by law.

Clients are equally expected to maintain the confidentiality of any other participants in group programmes. Names, circumstances, and disclosures shared by fellow participants must not be repeated, shared, or discussed outside the group context.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, frameworks, methodologies, worksheets, blog posts, and downloadable resources — is the intellectual property of Joyce Teo and is protected under applicable copyright law.

Clients and visitors may use downloaded materials for their own personal development only. You may not reproduce, distribute, adapt, sell, or use any content for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Joyce Teo.

Participation in a programme does not confer any licence to reproduce or teach the frameworks, methodologies, or diagnostic processes used therein.

8. Client Responsibilities

To get meaningful value from the Services, clients agree to:

  • Complete any pre-work or assigned materials honestly and before the scheduled session.

  • Attend sessions on time and prepared to engage directly.

  • Take responsibility for their own decisions, actions, and outcomes.

  • Communicate openly if something is not working or if circumstances change significantly.

Joyce Teo will not chase clients to book sessions, complete work, or take action. The responsibility for engagement rests entirely with the client.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, Joyce Teo's total liability to any client for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Services shall not exceed the total fees paid by that client in the three months preceding the claim.

Joyce Teo shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental loss, including loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, or reputation, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law.

10. Testimonials and Anonymity

Where client testimonials are displayed on this website, they are shared with the prior consent of the individual. Where anonymity has been requested, only role titles or initials are used. No identifying information is shared without explicit written consent.

Testimonials reflect individual experiences and do not constitute a guarantee that others will achieve similar results.

11. Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of this website, introduce malicious code, or use this site in any way that could damage its operation or reputation.

This website may contain links to third-party websites. Joyce Teo is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any linked external sites.

12. Privacy

Personal information collected through this website — including via contact forms, application forms, and email list sign-ups — is used solely to communicate with you, deliver the Services, and improve the website experience. Your data is not sold to or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

By submitting your information through this website, you consent to Joyce Teo contacting you in connection with your enquiry or application. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing joyceteo.sage@gmail.com.

This website is hosted on the Simplero platform. Their data processing practices apply to data stored and processed through that platform.

13. Amendments

Joyce Teo reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on this website with the effective date noted at the top. Continued use of the website or Services following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

Where possible, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally and in good faith before initiating formal proceedings.
